Change your WordPress default sender email ID to your own to look like more professional.
By default it is wordpress@domain.com but right now using this plugin you may change the name of the sender and the from email address too.
The main benefit you will get that, sometimes your default WordPress email address looks like spam to gmail, hotmail, yahoo mail or other email clients and they push your email to junk or spam folder. By using this plugin you can avoid that situation easily and you can use your brand name in from name and from email address too.

Screenshots

  • Go to the Settings link from left side bar in wp-admin and then go to the link "WP Default Mail" and then change the settings as per your requirement.
  • Sender name and email id

Installation

  1. Download the plugin zip file and extract it from zip folder and upload wp-default-sender-email-by-it-pixelz to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Go to settings of the plugin and edit options and save it. (Settings -> WP Default Mail)
  4. Thats it!!! Enjoy 🙂

Couldn’t be any simpler!

Kudos to the developer for making a simple plugin that does the job. There are just two fields (sender's Name and Email address) to set and forget - tucked neatly away under the wordpress Settings menu. I tried a few others, but their settings had several extra options, which make it a bit confusing for those who don't know about email protocol. E.g. "Use return path / Don't use return path", sender port number, SSL or TLS?
